designer who currently resides in Madrid.
He studied
fashion design at the Higher School of Fashion Design at the Polytechnic
University of Madrid, making the leather and textile specialties.
After
finishing she wanted to specialize in men's tailoring and obtained the title of
tailor in the tailoring school "La Confianza".
He began
designing fashion early, when he was eleven years, Inspired
by an old fashioned
book that retains from the begin of 1864, always with a small pencil in hand drawing, he began to imitate
the clothes as if they were girlfriends and at some point decided to start
making pret a porter collections.
Their
references are rather in art, history, and literature. Greatly influence my
understanding of creativity and life, Federico Garcia Lorca, Marc Chagall,
Frida Kahlo, Francis Bacon, artists with a strong personal and suffering load
in his peculiar traditions or in appreciably different things they can me draw
attention in life.
Antonio has designed collections with concepts as diverse
as the Australian Aborigines, the First World War, the Byzantine iconography of
the Angels, or metamorphosis.
The Valencia Fashion Week in February 2012 it was
their first opportunity to show their collections on a professional catwalk and
not leave anyone indifferent.
Her latest
collection "drumbeat" Spring-Summer 2014 and has references in the
world of French circus who recorded in his painting Marc Chagall and Pablo
Picasso.
Antonio Posadas is one of the most
interesting Spanish fashion designer for the next century.
Diseñador
nacido en Granada que actualmente reside en Madrid.
Estudió diseño de moda en el Centro Superior de Diseño
de Moda, de la Universidad Politécnica de Madrid,
realizando las especialidades de Piel y textil.
Tras terminar quiso especializarse en
sastrería masculina y obtuvo el título
de sastre en la escuela de sastrería La Confianza.
Empezó a diseñar moda con 11 años, estando siempre desde pequeño
con un lápiz en la mano dibujando, e influido por un antiguo libro de moda
de 1864 que conserva
en su familia, empezó a imitar los vestidos como si fueran novias y en algún momento decidió empezar a hacer colecciones de pret a porter.
Sus referentes están
más bien en el arte, en la historia, y en la literatura. Influyen
mucho en mi forma de entender la creatividad y la vida, Federico García Lorca, Marc Chagall, Frida Kahlo, Francis Bacon, artistas con
una fuerte carga personal y de sufrimiento en su obra, tradiciones peculiares,
o en cosas bastante dispares que me puedan llamar la atención en la vida.
He diseñado colecciones con conceptos tan dispares como los aborígenes australianos, la Primera Guerra Mundial, la iconografía de los Ángeles Bizantinos, o la metamorfosis.
En Valencia Fashion Week en febrero de 2012
fue su primera oportunidad de mostrar sus colecciones sobre una pasarela
profesional y no dejo indiferente a nadie.
Su última
colección
“Redoble de Tambor” Primavera-Verano 2014, y tiene referencias en el mundo del circo
francés que plasmaron en su pintura Marc Chagall y Pablo Picasso.
